My Review of Crackdown for XBOX 360

Just so that you know the type of person I am, my favorite games are MMO’s. The type of games like Warcraft or Dark Age Of Camelot. I am not into “shooters”. I only picked up Crackdown so that my brother and I could play co-op online through XBox Live. I was never too into any of the Grand Theft Auto titles and didn’t think I would enjoy this game. I was in for a very pleasant surprise. This is one of my favorite video games ever. The controls were tough for me to get used to at first, but with this addicting of a game it did not take too long for the gameplay to become natural.

The storyline for Crackdown is that you are a police officer trying to rid the city of all criminal activities. Not just any plain ole’ Cop, but a genetically enhanced freak that is out to stomp criminals. There are 21 gang bosses to take out, but each boss is in an area that is tough to get to. There are three separate areas. Each area hold different enemies and bosses. The further you get away from the start of the game then the cooler more destructive weapons you can get. My favorite weapon is the grenade launcher. Let that thing pop off and leave a trail of destruction in your wake.

Just like agen judi bola, gameplay is fun. This game has a lot of various vehicles for you to drive very fast around the city. The weapons are just as cool as the car. There are all sorts of automatic weapons, grenades, and more. Plus, the biggest and greatest weapon in the game is yourself. The more enemies that you kill then the stronger that your character gets. With every jump you get more agile. Soon you are able to pick up vehicles and leap from rooftop to rooftop.

This game is made better by its extremely fun co-op play on Live. It is a great feeling to be catching up to your friend running all over the top of a city. Using a grenade launcher to destroy the enemies that are about to kill your partner feels pretty sweet too.

One of the best parts of the game is the achievements. I like getting recognition in games. Some of the best achievements unlocked are the base jumper, shot-putter, and the body juggler.

The graphics are pretty good. Never is any lag. Plus the bosses all talk and that is cool to me too. The game looks the best in its highest resolution 1080i.

My biggest complaint with this game is that it is very difficult to host your own game. I think that it has something to do with my router, but I have no problems with any other Live games. Still with this drawback I would recommend this game to anybody looking to have a fun time. You can pick this game up used at a Gamestop for $17. Well worth it. I would just recommend making sure that you have some free time so that you can spend some hours in front of this thing.
