All-Natural Weed Killers: Do They Work?

We know how weeds can be annoying to deal with. They’ll sprout up along the cracks of your pavement and also ruin your plants. They’re an ugly sight to behold and a pain in the neck when you start pulling them out. You’re not sure how to deal with them without using pesticides. So the question remains, will using an all-natural weed killer work?

You’d be surprised to know that they do. They’re not long-lasting though. They’re temporary but they’re very effective. Below are a few ways how you can use all-natural weed killers in your garden so as to get rid of them quick:

Boiling Water

This is probably the most natural, inexpensive and very convenient solution in killing off weeds. Boil a pot of water and then pour them on the weeds. Make sure not to get some of it in surrounding plants or else you’ll kill them off too.

Lemon Juice

Lemon juice has natural acid that kills off weeds. It’s also conveniently found in grocery stores near you. In a spray bottle, squeeze all-natural lemon juice and use it to spray on weeds. It will cause them to dry and eliminate them in a day or two. For a stronger solution, add in white vinegar. With the acidity content, you’ll say goodbye to weeds in no time.

Newspaper or Landscaping Fabric

Landscape your garden in a way that no weeds will end up growing. Lay down a landscape fabric or just a simple newspaper and only allow your plants space to grow. These help prevent weeds from getting to your plants.

Alcohol

In a spray bottle, pour one quart of water and 2 tablespoons of rubbing alcohol. Spray them on to the weeds. These will result in them drying up.

You never have to buy pesticides ever again with these natural weed killers. Try these tips out now.
